I got the sexy Loofah costume idea from Pinterest after I searched for creative DIY costumes. I followed instructions posted on Pinterest that were very helpful and easy to follow. All I had to purchase was tulle, elastic bands, and a rope. They didn’t have enough of one color of tulle at Walmart, so my friends gave me the idea to use two tones, which was a huge hit.
When I told people I was going to be a loofah for Halloween, the common reaction I got was laughter. Not a subtle chuckle, but the full-blown LMAO type. It wasn’t until they saw pictures that they realized that it was very cute and original.
I got to wear my costume two different nights out on the town with my friends and I have NEVER gotten so many compliments from both men and women. This is definitely the best costume I’ve ever had!! I would highly recommend the sexy loofah costume for someone looking for a fun and creative idea!
