We are from Boston, so of course we picked the New England patriots when thinking up this Tailgater Costume. I think it’s pretty funny how some grown men get all crazy with paints and stuff for the games so that’s how the idea came to mind. The Patriots were playing that night too so a lot of the men came to the door while he was trick or treating and were teasing my son because Brady wasn’t doing so hot that game and thats the jersey he was wearing. It made for great interaction with the neighbors, especially the people who are big fans.
Although it was easy to make, people seemed to get a kick out of it. We just bought spray paint for his hair from the Halloween store, face paint and tatoos for his face. He had the jersey of course. We couldn’t do the bare chest with a letter or number on it though again, we live in New England so that would’ve been funny but way too cold.
