Homemade Fairy Costumes
My mom and I make the girls fairy costumes every year. The first thing we look for is the large flower to put on their heads then we usually find a matching dress in their closet. We've even been known to use a cute bathing suit top one year.
Then we use ribbon or a tutu for a skirt and add face painting and glitter. This year I am going to add butterflies to their headpiece and possibly their costume. I also bought stick on jewels that I'm going to try to stick on their face. Sometimes they carry a wand. I haven't really made their wands yet but I would love to do that one of these years.
