To Infinity and Beyond Buzz Lightyear Costume

A couple years ago, I attended Costume College in LA and the theme was “space”. Most of the attendees are women who specialize in sewn costumes, period pieces. I dont sew. Two months before the event, I decided to take on Buzz Lightyear – out of foam. This was my first full foam costume and it was tough. Trying to get the dimensions right, the ratios for each piece and glueing it all together to fit me… days before my deadline, it was completed. Well, except for the helmet.
