After shopping for costumes, I realized that all the costumes were starting to look the same. I wanted to do something different year, so I decided to make my boys a box of crayons. I got boxes big enough to comfortably fit on their shoulders. Thanks to hobby lobby I was able to find most of my supplies. I covered the boxes with yellow poster boards, and i covered small cups with different construction paper to resemble the crayons. I found the pointed hats at party city. I cut holes in the top and the sides for their heads and arms. Thanks to me working in a laboratory, i was able to coordinate the glasses. I must say that the project turned out to be better than expected.. My boys were the talk of the party.. And now I look forward to making more creative costumes.
