Homemade Tragedy Andy Costume
I bought the Tragedy Ann Costume from an online store, but needed something for my husband. I got an Andy costume pattern from the fabric store and used black and white fabrics in place of the red and blue. I put the zipper in the front, so that help wasn't needed to get in and out of it. I found a skull and cross bones necklace at the Halloween store and fastened it to the collar.
The hat was made from black and white fabric and I sewed the yarn hair to the hat. I had looped it long and intended to cut it, but he wanted to keep it long.
My costume came with a yarn hairpiece, so I took the bow off and sewed it to a barrette. I took some black fabric and sewed the yarn "hair" to it. I put Velcro on the wig and wig cap. I stayed on all night. The costume was a big hit at the party.
