My sister and I went to the Thrift shops in the neighborhood not knowing what we were gonna do for Halloween costumes. So I started by picking up a pair of blue plaited polyester man’s pants and a cool blue dress shirt.
Then we went over to the woman’s section and picked up a really loud dress (black with big flowers that were multi colored and really bright, we were laughing soo hard. She added a pretty scarf from my closet along with a pair of blue snow boots, the kind with the fur..real old lady type.
We added some jewelry with beads, all different colors. We bought wigs for $5.00, a hat for me at the dollar store and some glasses. Then we added the walker and the bike basket with some flowers in it.
We had a ball with our oldtimers Halloween costume, we didn’t win BUT when we sat at a table at the contest all the older people sat with us they thought we were really and old couple, when they found out I was a woman they were laughing so hard.
