Cool DIY Invisible Person Costumes

I spent 3 nights putting this Invisible person costume together. It took a total of 7 hours, which included taping, sewing, and hot glue. I purchased all the attire from our local thrift stores. I’m no seamstress, so for the final product to turn out like it did made me beyond proud. I got the inspiration from a video I saw online a few years ago. This was our year to give it a go. I spent hours with trial and error to perfect the final product. My wife was on board right away.

We were invited to a Halloween fundraiser ball on the 21st of October. I knew this costume was perfect for the event! We weren’t there for 3 minutes before I was approached by a lady who told me she wanted to nominate us for best costume. She handed me a card (from the picture) and said when they call for people with cards to go on stage. Needless to say, we won best costume (a small bag of candy); we have bragging rights for a year now.

Everyone at the ball asked to take our picture or take a picture with us. Countless people told me it was the best costume they have ever seen, which was really satisfying for me to hear since I know all the hard work I put into nailing this.

My wife had her floating hat, which included big dangling earrings, and glasses with her pearl necklace and large antique ring. She stole the show! My floating hat just had glasses glued to it, but it was fun, and we had a blast!
