Every year Our Medical school students committee has Bar Crawl. All 2nd years and above dress in costume. My friends and I dressed in a Homemade Flintstones Group Costume. Three of us were the Rubble family.
I was Betty Rubble. I handmade my dress by making a skirt and a halter neck top with my material. I attached the skirt and top together and added a black belt. I sewed the button and black ribbon together and tied the ribbon at the back of my neck. I used spare material to make a bow and tied it in the middle with extra ribbon i had.
For Bambam, I bought a cheap orange skirt and glued black triangles on it which I cut out of black felt. I bought fake fur material and wrapped it around his shoulder then fastened with safety pins. For the bones I glued on sqeaky pet toy bones which I bought from the pet shop. Also from the fancy dress shop we bought the bambam stick which was also squeaky :D
Barney costume was the easiet. I bought brought cheap brown material and sewed a loose fitting dress. Using extra black felt from bambams costume, i glued a cross at the neckline.
