Hillbillys Costume
A redneck hillbilly retirement party in West Virginia was the inspiration for these costumes. The guys wore thrift store bib-overhauls. My dress from the thrift store was in the uniform rack. I had to sew the bib and attach it to the skirt. Luckily I found matching material at the fabric store.
With the scraps I hot glued material on my drink cozy. I braided my hair and used craft wire to have my hair stick straight out. That was a hazard as I kept poking people and I didn't fit down a hallway without turning my head sideways. Beer cap earrings for a perfect finishing touch. We had a knee slapping redneck good time!
