Homemade Mad Hatter Costume
This entire Mad Hatter costume was hand made, except for the teapot purse which was found on ebay.
The vest was made from a pirate costume pattern, the jacket from a lion trainer costume and just a normal shorts pattern for the pants. The hat was made out of 2mm foam and covered with the same fabric from the jacket. I got all my fabric in the alley downtown, so it was a super bargain. The collar was also fabric covered foam. I just used remnants and really, that's about it.
It was the first costume I ever made, took maybe a week and cost under $25 if you don't count the purse.
