· Enlarged picture of the classic Twix bar (or actual Twix bar)
· 1 yd of shimmering gold cloth
· 2 ft of ironable fusible strips
· 1 roll of white Duck Tape
· 1 roll of red Duck Tape
· Black Sharpie pen
· Sharp fabric scissors
· Ruler
· Protractor

I folded the cloth lengthwise and fused the upper 2 ft of the open sides together with the ironable fusible strips (I bet I could have used double backed scotch tape, too). The bottom was left unfused to allow room for walking. With the cloth inside out, I arranged the cloth so that the fused part formed a flap, just like on the candy bar wrapper. I later taped down the flap to keep it flat. I placed Duck Tape on all the edges to prevent fraying, on the back to adjust for fit, at the shoulders, at the neckline, and along the future armholes. With Duck Tape in place, I trimmed the top and bottom, and cut the neckline and armholes. At last, I turned the outside back out and began the decoration.

Following the picture, I put down white duck tape to make the “Twix” letters, using ruler and protractor, as needed. Sharp scissor helped to trim the edges and corners. The great thing about Duck Tape is that I can lift it off of the fabric and restick it as often as I need to. I used a black Sharpie pen to outline the white letters. For the small print underneath, I stenciled in the words on white Duck Tape, and colored the background with black sharpie, so that the letters remained uncolored and white.

Next, I placed the red Duck Tape over the white letters, leaving an appropriate amount of white outline. Lastly, I used the black Sharpie directly on the gold fabric to make the shadow, being careful to put cardboard between layers, so the ink would not bleed through to the back of the costume.

I liked how vibrant and sharp the whole No-Sew Twix Costume came out, just like the candy bar.

I like how no sewing was involved. My son's favorite candy bar is twix so I am going to try to make this. Thanks for sharing!!!
