Homemade Chucky and Bride of Chucky Costumes
I make my children costumes every year but this year I am at college full time so it had to be something quick and easy.
For the Chucky costume, I had an old pair of dungarees from a bob the builder costume so I painted the sploges on them and also wrote good guys. I painted stripes on to a t-shirt and for the hair I used orange hair spray. The scars are just drawn on with red and black makeup pencils, I copied a picture from the internet.
For the bride of Chucky, my daughter had an old bridesmaid dress. I bought the jacket and a blond wig and then just did her makeup to complete the look.
The Chucky outfit cost me $1 and took about 3 hours as I had to paint. The bride cost me $10 and took about 10 minutes and that was just putting the makeup on and sorting out the wig.
The Chucky costume won first prize in the fancy dress competition.
