The refrigerator is my nicest creation!! As you can see I am in the refrigerator but you can see only my head in a platter with blood like if someone had just killed me and put me on the fridge. There is a mouse hanging there , there are some eyes with blood in a box like if you just bought it on the supermarket. And many things in the bottom part, you can see a monster trying to go out of the fridge with a light inside so you can see some reflections coming from inside and its tied with a chain so he cant go out!
It´s all handmade with some materials that are very easy to find. I also recycled many things from my kitchen like the egg box, the juice boxes, cereals and everything you see in the picture. I also took things from garbage it was so fun to do it!
Just be creative! Here in the streets was crazy, everybody took my pictures and told me it was the best costume ever! And I think so! They also interviewed me for some TV channels ,it was amazing, it looks so real!
i hope you like this head in fridge Halloween costume as much as it liked here in my country!

The frozen head in fridge costume started out as a water heater box. I cut it down the left side to make the "doors" then placed a piece of cardboard in the bottom of the "freezer" section that rested on my daughters head.
We spray-painted the entire thing white and placed bent cardboard on the freezer and fridge part to look like handles. I had my youngest daughter draw a picture for the front, and placed little foam letters on the doors to look like a little kid had been playing there.
We also put empty cereal boxes on the top with Velcro so they could be removed when the costume wasn't being worn.
After applying some grayish paint and a nice long makeup cut along my daughters neck, we teased her hair and in she went. I also placed an empty ice tray in the freezer with Velcro and an empty ice cream tub in to catch hold the candy since she didn't have arms available to her.
This costume got a lot of attention. People would make us wait on their porch so they could take a picture and we had cars stopping in the street to look and ask questions.
I still have the fridge in the basement, I couldn't bring myself to dispose of it.

This was a fun costume! everyone loved it! I sprayed the freezer with fake snow to give it the frosted look, used a fake packaged "heart" and a little make up, slit throat and frosted hair were perfect touches. He Loved IT!
I used poster board which was pretty light, and cut it to the right sizes... I glued an Ice cream bucket for candy and we used cardboard to set on his shoulders. My son drew a picture and we used foam letters for the "magnet Look'. We did cut two small squares in the side for his hands to hold the box up and I also rigged a shoulder/backpack type system to help him carry it.
This was NOT heavy, but hard to walk in so I did cut up the back to about his knees and used a white cloth sheet, to hide his legs, so he was able to move around better. We saw another child in a costume who was "headless" and thought that would have been a great sidekick to this costume!
