The Little Mermaid Costume
I was able to make this Mermaid costume in four days. I made the rock and the bra with paper. The tail is a fabric triangle that I put on the rock. The top is nude stretch swimwear material to look like skin and the bottom is a stretch metallic to give the appearance of a fish tail.
For the costume I used a simple tee shirt pattern for the top and took it in to be form fitted. Everyone loved this mermaid costume. I do a new costume every year.
