He may be young but this is the biggest David Bowie fan there is! Ever since Fargo was YouTube surfing a year ago and discovered Bowie he’s been obsessed and said he wants to be him for Halloween.
We bought the wig but every other part of the costume was handmade – from hand painting stripes on the shirt and pants to the sport ball holders which were cut, colored and fastened to make the awesome shoulder decor to the red boots carefully covered with duct tape, to the cutting, sewing and manipulating these generic kid basic clothing and making a belt- finally to the lightning bolt make with lipstick (it was the only thing that would stay & stay it did leaving him with a funny looking shiner the next day at school).
And who says David Bowie can’t play a Danelectro guitar! This kid couldn’t have possibly been happier as he sang the whole night trick-or-treating!
