Halloween Greeting Card Costume

Hello…my name is Margaret and I love to create the most unique costumes that my mind can handle! I got the ideal when I was going to sell Mia’s Castle house (that folds up and down) *picture 1. Then it was on, I bought all my stuff from the dollar store, Goodwill or Salvation Army.(not including the spray paint) I started with the first page…I put the heart and face then I started to add…just like you do when you make a card for someone…BUT BIGGER! I used old costume props to complete it. The claw with a spider on it and the eye ball hanging from the tips. That was done with the GLUE GUN! I glue gun EVERYTHING!!!! Then I added the pop out haunted house to made it 3D.*picture 2

For this page*picture 1 I decided to go scary. I thought the grave and the skeletons was a great ideal…the little ones went from lying down to standing straight up. Then I added the popping eyes and the sponge tongue with a nail thru it was good. But the hand was the coolest. I hung the skull chandelier to give it the 3D effect also the pumkin was out there…I put a balloon inside of it. Then I added the eyes, hey stickers and fake mice and spiders. It was fun to create because I could do pretty much anything!!!

This page was very simple I put the spider with the hanging string to the top of the cardboard poster. I cut the hole for mis to pop out of and then painted TRICK OR TREAT!

This was purple paint saying “Personalized Greeting Cards by MIA

This was exciting to do and my daughter had a lot of fans waiting in line to take pictures with her. I also gave her a fake snake and a bottle of POISON which I made for her with paper mache.
