I’m a big Lady Gaga Fan and I have followed her fashions and looks for quite some time. With Lady Gaga there are so many different looks to choose from! I was browsing through some of her more photographed looks and came up with this Lady Gaga Costume. She has done several variations on this theme and I decided to go with this.
First I took a black spandex off the shoulder dress that I got online for about $14 and went from there. I added the “origami” details using patterns of 3d geometric shapes that I found on the internet. After that I cut them out of brown paper bags: assembled, glued and stapled them together, and then I spray painted them with gold acrylic craft paint.
A long blonde wig (which I already had in my enormous Halloween wig collection!) topped it off and more origami was used in creating the headpiece, which was held in place with bobby pins. Big black sunglasses from the 99 Cent Store, some short studded black gloves, which I purchased at a Halloween shop for a few dollars, and my bronze shimmery ballroom dancing shoes completed the look.
