My best friend flew out to come hang out with me on Halloween. So we decided to do a duo costume, we created a homemade Wilma Flinstone and Betty Rubble costume!
For Wilma I bought a plain white dress that was just a swimsuit cover up. I cut it so that it would become a halter top. Then cut the bottom to make it raged looking. I went to a fabric store and bought some animal print and sewed on random patched. I also made a real pocket in the front big enough for my phone and some lip gloss! With the left over fabric I put in my hair. Oddly enough I did have that big pearl necklace before. Also, I did end up wearing shoes! I just slipped on some flip flops.
For Betty, again it was just a loose swimsuit cover up I actually had. We again cut it to make it a halter and the bottom to look rugged. The zebra fabric belt and black necklace I had before hand (hah what can I say I love random accessories) Brooke bought the black wig cause it was a must!
