My daughter wanted to be a mummy for Halloween so I got right to work searching for different homemade mummy costume ideas.
What we did was took a white turtle neck & white sweats (which we already had both) I took an old set of white sheets & a box of tea bags. The idea here is to make the cloths & sheets look old. Take hot water & 5 gallon buckets (we used 2, one for sheets & 1 for clothes), soak for several hours until you achieve color you would like. Then dry everything (OK, this is where it gets a bit tricky), shred sheets in strips & sew them onto shirt & pants & there you have it… a MUMMY!!!
