I created this awesome homemade glowing jellyfish costume after seeing an inspiration on this site last year. Me and my husband had so much fun making this costume that we decided this year we are going to perfect it a little more.

First we had to find a “bubble” umbrella, they sell them at golf shops but we found this one at Target. We purchased a mini black-light from Spencers (it is battery operated).

We tore up an old sheet, tied it to the spokes of the umbrella, zip tied the black light to the inside dome and for special effects and better glow we got a few glow sticks and broke them open right as it got dark and dripped it all over the insides of the umbrella.

I wore all black so all you could see was the glow and the costume was the biggest hit on the block! I had several people stop me and ask how I created it, I gave out the website of course!
