Coolest Homemade Claw Machine Halloween Costume Idea

For this homemade claw machine Halloween costume idea I took a box and cut out the front and two sides. I then cut an opening in the back to be able to get in and out of the box easily. I put a piece of cardboard in the middle of the box and to the side. I then stuffed with stuffed animals that we all ready had. I made the claw out of a paper-towel holder covered in duct tape and made the claws out of cardboard covered with duct tape. Sprayed the outside black and put the treasure chest sign on and the colored bubbles.

I then dressed up as a cat so that I would look like one of the stuffed animals. I came up with this homemade claw machine Halloween costume idea because my granddaughters love to play the claw machine every time they see one. After Halloween they had a ball changing places in and out of the box and pretending like they were a claw machine. They are still playing with the claw machine costume!

  2. THIS COSTUME IS REALLY UNIQUE. NOT ONLY IS UNIQUE AND CREATIVE. NOT ONLY SHE RECREATE THE STUFFED ANIMAL MACHINE SHE MADE HER SELF A PART OF IT. EVEN DOWN TO THE SLOTS AND EVERYTHING. THIS COSTUME CAN BE USED OVER AND OVER AGAIN USING A DIFFERENT THEME. THE COLORS USED WERE VIBRANT AND NOTICEABLE. IF I EVER NEEDED A COSTUME FOR HALLOWEEN OR FOR A CHARITY EVENT. I WOULD CHOOSE HER. THANK YOU.

  3. What an idea! The claw made out of a paper towel holder is the coolest. There are so many changes a person could make, as her granddaughters changing places, the ideas for “prizes” is endless! This should keep kids busy for hours!

    Great job, Sherry!!!!!!!!!!!
