Coolest Homemade Beetlejuice Adult Costume

I didn’t want to do your ordinary Beetlejuice so I chose the scene in the movie where he spikes Gena Davis.

I bought moss from an art store along with spirit gum and skin latex to apply my prosthetic. The clothes all came from shopping at numerous thrift stores, I couldn’t seem to find the putor khaki-ish colored trench he wore, so I had to settle for a black coat.

Then I had to figure out how to get the spike affect. I ended up buying a 20 dollar gladiator armour piece for my chest and back, some pirate swords, a box cutter and a hot glue gun. The hardest part of this Homemade Beetlejuice Adult Costume? Getting the clothes on!
