Coolest Homemade Beatlejuice Costume

This is me as Miss Argentina and Beatlejuice (my husband). My husband’s homemade Beatlejuice costume was all pieced together. Used an old suede suit found at a thrift store, found a wig at a costume store that was cut to this style. Used costume paint and moss for his face. Green teeth and paint to make them look gross. Spray-painted the suit with green and white paint for a dirty effect.

For my homemade Argentina costume, I used green acrylic paint from the hobby store. Handmade my dress with some cheap sequin fabric. Got my sash from a floral store and used boating/mailbox lettering for the name. Ordered my wig off the web. Cape was a vampire cape cut the length off and used wire to make the collar stand up. Sewed on a shiny orange fabric over the top of the cape. I attached the cape around my arms using old clear straps from a shirt.

This was a hit. WE won 1st place in the contest. $100 prize
