Coolest Curious George’s Man with the Yellow Hat Costume

This is my son William dressed up as the Man with the Yellow Hat for World Book Day November 2007. He won first prize! The Curious George’s Man with the Yellow Hat Costume was very easy and didn’t cost more than about 10 dollars.

The hat is actually a black witches’ Halloween costume hat covered in yellow felt with the top pushed in. The shirt and tie are from a charity shop. The socks are my husband’s. The shorts and shoes are part my son’s school uniform.

The monkey we had and I just stitched one hand to an opposing foot so it would ‘hang on’.
