Coolest Athena Greek Goddess Costume

Part of a trio of goddess costumes I made for teenagers. Athena is the goddess of war and wisdom. She wears a white dress and red Indian blouse from the thrift store. Her armor is all from the Dollar store that I painted and glued jewels to.

Athena also cut the head from Medusa to put on her shield. In the middle of the shield are two plastic dragons  that I cut and reshaped. Her skirt is made from a red leather skirt that I cut and refashioned. The top of the helmet is made from a Dollar store broom. I cut the handle off and removed all the plastic bristles. I then glued white feathers in the holes left.

  1. How did you make the rest of the helmet? It looks awesome and I’d love to do the same thing for my Athena costume.
