This is our Tin Man and Scarecrow costume. The Tin Man was made from 3 x 25’ aluminum sheet bought from Home Depot and held together by rivets and ¼” bolts. Everything was hand made and took 50 hours labor. The Scarecrow was made from burlap and other fabrics.
For the body of this homemade Tin Man costume I used a cardboard envelope (used for shipping), hot glued embroidery rings (cut in half) on the inside of the costume to make it more structurally sound.
