I decided to be Alice for Halloween several years ago. That is Alice from the Brady Bunch! I did it the day before Halloween. I borrowed the blue dress from someone and already had the apron from a previous costume. Then I used a big piece of cardboard to be the TV. The hardest part was finding all of the pictures of each member of the family, because I wanted to use pictures from the opening credits. Eventually I found pictures that were good enough for me. The nice thing about this costume was that I made “Alice’s” opening in the square just big enough so that I could fit my head and shoulders, which then held up the costume, so that I could be hands free. It was perfect for passing out candy. If anyone loves old TV shows try this costume. Everyone I saw was impressed. I’ve never seen a costume like it before.
