Homemade Al and Peg Bundy Couple Costume

My and my finance came up with this idea of a Homemade Al and Peg Bundy Couple Costume watching old re-runs of Married with Children on TV.

Al’s Costume
-Pants, button up, tie and jacket were bought at Goodwill store.
-The nametag was made by myself with one of those clear nametag pins, and printed it out from the computer. It had the name of the place Al worked (Gary’s Shoes and Accessories for Today’s Woman) and added the logo of the organization (NO MA’AM) The “National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Master hood” Al and the group fight the increasing power of women all over society, but the organization tends to just be a social club in which the men in the neighborhood hang out, bowl, and frequent the Jiggly Room. This logo was drawn on the back with sharpies, which is not seen in the picture.

Peg’s Costume
-Leggings, Big Black Belt, Cheetah Top, were bought at local stores.
-Shoes, which aren’t seen, were cheep candies type heels spray painted red.
-The wig was bought online.

Homemade Peg and Al Bundy Couple Costume

Simple Homemade Peg and Al Bundy Couple Costume. For Al we got the shirt and tie at a thrift store for $3 total, and bought a cheap shoe horn at a shoe store. He also carried around a old remote that we had around the house, so whenever he sat down he could "assume the position" by putting his hand in his pants and hold the remote with the other hand.

For Peg I found a wig at the halloween store that was called "big hair wig." I bought some fake cigarettes to have in my hand at all times. I wore a leopard print tank top and a cropped jacket that I held together with a gaudy broche and some stretchy black capris with black heels.

All in all the costumes were simple and cheap to put together and everyone liked it, in fact, we won best couple costume at a party we went to!

Peggy- I bought a red wig and cut bangs into it. Also teased the top really big. Bought a leopard shirt with leggings and high heels. Red nail polish, pink lips, and lots of gum chewing. I had money hanging out of my bra for an added touch.

Al- Business shirt with a loose tie. Blue slacks and a belt. Black socks and shoes, along with the name tag that says "Gary's shoes and accessories for todays women. Al Bundy Salesmen", and to top it off had his hand in his pants.

We had so much fun putting this homemade Al and Peggy Bundy Halloween couple costume together, and fit the part perfectly. We walked around singing the theme song "Love and Marriage" And Peggy always asking Al for money.

Thank you all for viewing, we would love your votes :)
