This is my 4yr old daughter who loves Lil Toot.
It’s lots of fun making a Halloween costume so I was up for the challenge. I used cardboard for the different shapes of the boat. Then I reinforced it with papier mache to get rid of all the construction imperfections and painted it. For the smoke ring I used a hanger and formed it into a ring with a "tail". The ring I covered in batt (pillow stuffing) and the tail I secured to the chimney.
The boat itself is held up with straps on her shoulders and grips for her hands. The chimney serves as a great candy repository. A denim baseball cap and a little soot on the nose and we're ready!
Total Spent: $5
