Little Miss Muffet and the Spider that sat down beside her Costumes

My 2 year old loves spiders so I thought that would be the perfect costume, only I was having trouble finding a spider costume that in my opinion was cute enough. Then I had the great idea that her older sister could be Little Miss Muffet to make it a theme, but the only problem was that my eleven year old daughter is not so into cute. So, I petitioned to my little sister who is a costume design major in college to design the costumes so they could be a cute spider and a not so cutesy Little Miss Muffet. She came up with great designs but was too busy with school to implement them so my mom made the costumes. The costumes turned out better than I could have imagined! The girls looked so cute and had so much fun being complimented the whole night. I even got them to pose for this “along came a spider and sat down beside her” photo. How will we top this next year?
