Incredible Homemade Light Up Jellyfish Costume
I made this for work. I work with patients in the dark so I was looking for ways to glow brighter with them. I looked up light costumes and saw some basic jelly fish costumes with umbrellas and lights and went with the idea.
It was pretty easy. I used pink bubble wrap and fabric, held together by a hot glue gun and packing tape. Inside the head, I used white led in the center and blue micro/fairy lights. They are battery operated and I never had to replace the batteries. I got them at Target. The fiber optics are another story. I ordered them online and they weren’t cheap. They are sold as a light kit for a dress. The batteries last 1.5 hours.
It was hard to go to the bathroom in, lol.
