Colonel Sanders, Wendy and Ronald Mcdonald Halloween Costumes
I decided to theme all three of kids together as fast food Icons. We have Colonel Sanders, that I fashioned from an old pair of sunglasses with the lenses popped out, a red apron with a piece of a KFC biscuit box cut out for the KFC, a piece of black ribbon for the tie and the facial hair, that I created out of cutting the hair off another mask to make the little mustache and goatee.
Wendy is a red wig with new blue ribbons tied in. An old ugly dress underneath another dress that is actually a costume bought at a Halloween store but it is a dress for a slutty girl not a little toddler so it worked out good. The Wendy's logo on the dress is cut off a Wendy's plastic bag and glued on with fabric glue.
Ronald McDonald is a pair striped pajamas with an old Teletubbies costume over it with the legs cut down and the arms cut off. Then I glued the red fabric on the yellow jumpsuit for the final touches. Then I found the red shoes in a thrift store and they worked out great.

This Homemade Colonel Sanders Costume was made for our 6 year old daughter. It just came to us one day as we were driving by a KFC. The costume itself was easy. We bought a white suit at a thrift store. The tie is just a piece of ribbon bought at a textile store. We had a hard time finding a white wig. We finally found what I think was a Mark Twain wig at a costume shop.
The mustache, beard, and eyebrows were cut from a piece of furry cloth also purchased at the textile store. The cane was a full size walking stick that was cut down to fit her size. I think the thing that really made the costume special was the bucket of chicken. The bucket, of course, was given to us at the local KFC. The chicken pieces were made from fake bones from the Halloween store which were then wrapped on one end with a brown cloth and tied with pipe cleaners.
We hope you enjoy.

I decided to be Colonel Sanders after driving through the drive-thru and seeing Colonel Sanders on the sign. I thought it would be pretty easy and very funny!
I'm always something silly for Halloween and this one is by far my favorite!
I got an old white suit which my mom had and a white undershirt. I made the black tie out of ribbon and spray painted the wig and mustache. I found black glasses with the eyebrows attached and spray painted them also. I paired my outfit with black shoes and went to KFC and got an empty bucket. That was it! So easy and I got so many compliments for being "Original" , not extra crispy!
No one could believe I was actually a female. One guy dared his friend to dance with me and gave him $20 to do it. Thats when I knew I did a great job on my costume!
