Homemade Hulk Hogan Hollywood NWO Costume
I have been the traditional Hulk Hogan for a couple of years now and decided I would take it up a notch and dress as Hollywood Hulk Hogan when he was a part of ECW and NWO. It was much harder because of the black beard mixed in with the blonde hair and mustache.
I grew a thin beard and dyed it black. The mustache and hair are real and I dyed them blonde. I made the shirt and bandanna and bought black wrestling tights. I found a pair of black wrestling boots and put the "Hollywood" decals on it. I stepped up my work-out sessions to help the costume look even better.
Hulk Hogan is an American wrestling icon and I think my Homemade Hulk Hogan Hollywood NWO Costume was the coolest ever. I went to a couple of parties and at least 50 people took pictures with me. I even had two people ask me if I was the real Hogan! It was a lot of fun.

Every Halloween since high school I have had people tell me I should be Hulk Hogan for Halloween. I've always backed out on doing it because I thought it would be hard to go all out and make the costume legit. I love going all out for Halloween, so I had to wait for the right time. I decided this was the year! I hit the gym extra hard for 3 months, I started growing my beard 2 months, and then the night before shaved my handle bars (I even tried bleaching them). I bought each piece of the costume separately over 3 months, the Hulk mania bandana, the red glasses, the WWF tag team champion belt, the red and yellow tie dye pants, black hot topic boots I painted red and yellow, and finally the spray tan!
I have already gone to couple house parties with my Homemade Hulk Hogan Costume and was an instant hit. The costume came out perfect!
I put this Hulk Hogan costume together, and it has a lot of little parts to it. I had a bald wig with long blond hair. The shirt I cut up in the back to match what Hogan wore. Even the weight belt I wore said Hollywood.
I had to tie dye my pants, and paint my wrestling boots yellow (not seen in picture). I even grew out my own mustache and bleached it. Personally I think it's the best Hulk Hogan costume your going to see.
My son (and I!) love Hulk Hogan, and I purchased a Hulkamania shirt online for his birthday. Later, we found a padded muscles costume at the Goodwill, and decided to have a little fun and turn him into Hulk Hogan for Halloween.
We purchased a flames bandanna, a boa from the dollar store, gold sunglasses, and a stick on mustache.
I put this Homemade Hulk Hogan Costume together with a muscle shirt, red tights, a hulkamania shirt, a hippie wig that I trimmed and used the extra for the stach, some spray painted army boots with red shoe laces, some shades, bandana and a couple of wrist bands. And ofcourse the heavy weight champion belt! Total cost about $100.
