Homemade Sriracha Hot Sauce Costume

"You are HOT!"
"I know."

Never got old. I love Sriracha on just about everything, so I decided to pay homage to my favorite condiment a few Halloweens ago with this Homemade Sriracha Hot Sauce Costume. Took me just one day to complete, and let it dry over night. Many compliments and people asking me to sell them my shirt and/or make them costumes for this year.

SRIRACHA
Materials: Party hat, green cardstock, Red T-shirt, white puffy paint, bottle of Sriracha for inspiration

Process: For my t-shirt, I practiced on a piece of white paper before putting my puffy paint skills to work. I used blue painters tape as guidelines (top, bottom, sides, rough rooster outline), and carefully painted away. For the "cap" I covered a traditional party hat (dollar store find) with green card stock to form a tip. I then cut another piece of green card stock into about 3 1/2" width and folded it over and over to make the ridges, accordion style. I stapled this to the party hat and that was it!

I completed the outfit with red hoops, red nails, and black shorts.

Did you find a logo online to copy from or just freehand the words and rooster? Great costume. I am making it this year!

Coolest Taco Bell Sauce Costume 6

Homemade Taco Bell Sauce Costume

Homemade Taco Bell Sauce Costume

This Homemade Taco Bell Sauce Costume is extremely easy to make! All you need is a large or extra large colored t-shirt (we got ours from Hobby Lobby) and some puffy paint. First you need to decide whether or not you want to be mild, hot, or fire sauce. If you are doing this with a group of people, you might want to have one of each. Then, we printed off the Taco Bell label from internet and we used this to stencil it onto our shirts near the bottom. Then we looked up some of the funny sauce quotes and choose which ones to put on our shirts. After that we just colored everything in and let the shirts dry before putting the shirts on (to wear shirts as dresses just pull your arms through the neck part so that it fits like a tube top). Then tie the sleeves together in the back to make the dress more form fitting.

All together it costs about 10 dollars per shirt and paint, and it was definitely the best costume at the parties we attended!

Tapatio Hot Sauce

The concept for this homemade Tapatio Hot Sauce Charro costume was taken from a very popular hot sauce called "TAPATIO"... The logo for the hot sauce is a "charro" or mexican cowboy with a sly smile, big sombrero and red ribbon flowing across the chest that reads "SALSA PICANTE"... Being Mexican myself, I took the Dia De Los Muertos or 'Day of The Dead' idea and gave the "TAPATIO MAN" a lil sinister make over.

I made a trip to my local thrift store and was lucky to find a wooden hinged box that was just perfect to place an actual altered hot sauce bottle that I used as a sidekick and conversation piece during our party. As you see the costume, it only goes down to my chest, since that's all you see in the original bottle. I wore a black long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes. Everything you see was handmade, besides that mask and wig I had laying around from a previous costume.

ENJOY!

Coolest Homemade Taco Bell Mild Sauce Packet Costume 4

Homemade Taco Bell Mild Sauce Packet Costume

Eat, Drink and Be Scary! My Taco Bell Mild Sauce Packet Costume, which I handcrafted to show my appreciation for TB. For “Border Sauce Mild,” and “Think Outside the Bun,” I found the font online, printed and cut out the letters and then cut them out of fusible fabric.

For the Taco Bell logo, “Eat, Drink and Be Scary!” and ingredients information, I printed it on an iron-on transfer and then ironed it onto the costume. Everything is done to scale and the information matches exactly to any Mild Sauce packet (with the exception of the Be Scary part)!

Homemade Tabasco Sauce Halloween Costume

I love hot sauce so I thought this Tabasco sauce costume would be a perfect costume for me. I printed out the label on a t-shirt transfer paper and ironed it on the shirt. The hat is cardboard. If I had had more time, I was going to make a belt out of peppers and find red boots.

How did you get that hat to stay on your head?

I love this costume and I'm going to use it as my costume this year. I was wondering how you made the hat.

Great costume! Where did you get a copy of the label to print on the transfer paper? I have found tons of labels but when I try to enlarge for printing they get really distorted.

i'm glad you guys like it! i made the hat out of red poster board and staples, really simple! i got the logo from here... . Since they're in vector format they won't distort if you make them bigger.
