Homemade Half Man Half Woman Halloween Costume
Last night we went to dance at our favorite dance club, and I won a first price with this Homemade Half Man Half Woman Halloween Costume.
I spend lot of time to make it, but is really original. I cut trousers in half, that I got from the thrift store and sewed it a half skirt. I took a man's wig and sewed it with blond hair. Shop and glued on one bushy eyebrow and half a beard.
Put on my normal make up on one side and ruffed up the man side of the face. Men's jewelry on one side and ladies on the other, and I put on a fancy glove. Painted finger and toe nails on one side.
I had high heels on one foot and some disco size heel/men's half boot on the other. This Homemade Half Man Half Woman Costume was fun to make!
I have been perfecting this he/she homemade Halloween costume for about 6 years and I'm on my 4th version on it. This is my most comfortable version yet.
Before I was trying to wear two outfits together down the middle, in this one - half of the outfit is whole under the other side (the female top was whole to keep the close share and where the male side can be more baggy; and I cut the pants into shorts under the skirt to keep it easy to put on and off and comfortable to wear).
The hair is half a wig attached to a baseball cap. The facial hair and side burns were just brown face paint and eye liner, two different colors to give it a more realistic look. Next year I'm looking to make a he/she coat for the cool/cold Halloween nights in Texas.
I cut an old men's suit in half, that I got from the thrift store and sewed it to a Red Dress, that I cut out from material. I pulled my hair to the side and used hair combs to hold in place from the back. Got Theatrical hair from the local theater/costume shop and glued on one bushy eyebrow and half a beard.
Put on my normal make up on one side and ruffed up the man side of the face. Mens jewelry on one side and ladies on the other. Painted finger and toe nails on one side and a little dirt in the other fingernails.
I had high heels on one foot and some disco size heel/mens half boot on the other. This Homemade Half Man Half Woman Costume was fun to make!

I saw a commercial a few years ago about Peter Paul's Mound and Almond Joy candy. It went like this, sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't and it was a halfman halfwomen costume.
So I went out and purchased a used tuxedo and a used ladies dress and went to about 10 tailors telling them what I wanted. Finally found one that could do it. I visited the tailor for a few fittings and this is the finish product.
I entered two contest won first place in one and 2nd place in the other. I wasn't too happy about 2nd place. I will be entering a big contest this year in NYC.
