To create my Homemade Hellboy Halloween Costume Idea, I started with the arm. Using children's foam playmats I rolled them in a tube shape, layering up the pieces of foam, I then cut out the fingers, sticking them to a red welding glove and the horns from the same foam and sprayed the whole lot with red spray paint. The tail was made by stuffing a white stocking with wadding and wire so that it would move, I then sprayed it red and attached it around my waist with string.

For the wig I took took a bald cap and sprayed it red and stapled a plaited black wig to the back. I then glued on the horns. The gun was made by sticking together cardboard rolls around the barrel of a gun I owned, I then sprayed the barrels black. I got a meter of leather and made the gun holster and belt. I painted my face, arms and neck with red facepaint, and attached the sideburns and goatee which were originally a mustache set I found. I wore black trousers and long sleeved top, boots and a long mac, finishing of the look with the all important cigar!

I decided to pick a Homemade Hellboy Halloween Costume because I saw one on here.

To make the hand we took a hockey glove and covered in clay and made some cracks in it then spray painted it. For the 2nd part of the hand we made it with foam and covered with clay and spray painted it.

For the head piece we had a full face mask and just cut the top part of and spray painted it red. We found a long wig at the local costume store and glued it on to the head piece and put it into a pony tail. For the horn we got Styrofoam and cut it into the horn shape and glued it on the head cap and spray painted it red.

The coat we bought for 10 dollars at the local costume store and bought a tight black shirt there to. The side burns and the beard we just bought them.

For my skin I bought red make up from the local costume store and put it on my arms, face, and neck.

Homemade Hellboy Costume

Hellboy

For this costume, everything was homemade. His muscles were made out of pantyhose stuffed with batting, and sewn to create the muscle definition.
His black leather pants were and old pair of pants that I duck-taped to give it that leather look.

The arm was made out of foam that I put together and painted.

His horns was made out of foam that I painted. His hair was an old wig that I cut up and glued on. To do his bold head was a challenge. I used a ladies stocking to cover his hair then used some medical IV tape thanks to my brother-n-law. Then painted him with red arcylic paint. I was scared to use it at first but it worked out good. It just peels off.

I made my homemade Hellboy costume cause I love to design. I was inspired from the movies that I saw that’s why I brought it up here & made my own costume which I planned as “Hellboy” although it's not really perfect but through my effort & time bought some materials & other stuff to use as props, it was really exciting. Now, I came up with a nice Hellboy costume to inspire others not just for contest but to expand the creativity.
