This Black Swan costume was so easy to create! The hardest thing was the red colored contacts! If you do not normally wear contacts a few hours in them SUCK! I started with the basics…. a black halter dress that I cut. I created the black tu-tu with tulle. 4 yards that I stripped, folded then tied to a ribbon. I purchased white stocking originally and white ballerina shoes.
On my hands I drew feathers. For make-up I purchased white and black make-up. Just follow your natural eyebrow line to create your Black Swan eyes. The more make-up the better. Just go all out. I bought a dollar store crown and painted it black. Originally I made one out of cardboard but it did not have the same effect. I also last minute added crow feathers to the top of the dress and made a black feather belt for finishing touches.
