My husband is a huge Dog the Bounty Hunter fan and he thought that would be a good idea for a costume. I went along and decided we would do a couple costume and I would be Beth. Everybody loved our Homemade Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Chapman Costumes and definitely was the hit of the party.

We found most items at Wal-Mart (wigs, gloves, handcuffs, tank top, balloons, bra, black jeans, and sunglasses). The badges I found at the Dollar Store but they have badges at Wal-Mart too (in party section). I outlined the badges in black foam board and glued them together, then tied them to silver string. For Dog’s mullet wig, I had to tease it and put lots of hairspray to form the shape of Dog’s hair and hot glued feathers from a dream catcher (dollar store) to it. For the Dog logos I used white sticky foam board ($1.00 at craft store) and traced the logo, cut it out and stuck them to the shirts.

I used balloons to stuff my over sized bra and they didn’t pop all night. I owned the jeans, bandanna, and boots so Beth’s costume cost me only $15. Dog’s costume cost a little over $30 but was worth every penny. I hope you enjoy!

Homemade Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Halloween Costume Ideas

My husband and myself enjoyed every part involved in these homemade Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Halloween costume ideas! From shopping for the accessories to actually getting to wear it out! We had such a good time, everyone loved our costumes.

Instead of mace we had silly string in our leg holsters (mine being pink of course). Instead of the cheesy wigs out there for him, we poofed up his hair in front and I added an extension to the back. Even though the color was off it definitely was better than the wigs we found and had access to. It was only a shame we couldn't of had another couple with us to be "baby Lisa" and Leiland. LOL.

Most of the things we already had but we did have to purchase our badges, pink shades, Nerf balls (which were quite comfy), and leg holsters. Overall it wasn't really that difficult. Anyway- we love this show and had a blast playing the part of Dog and Beth!

My husband and I went to a party as Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth this Halloween. Boy, we had fun.

For the homemade Dog the Bounty Hunter and Wife Halloween costume I searched all over thrift shops for pants and finally found cami pants. My husband already had a leather vest and I made badges out of toy police sets. Found some realistic handcuffs and attached fake walkie talkies on our shoulders.

I made a fake mace spray and had on necklaces we ordered from Hawaii. I bought a size DDD bra and stuffed it. Too funny. Add a couple of wigs and some spray tan and we were good to go!
