Coolest Dog The Bounty Hunter Halloween Costume 12
(Mechanic Falls, Maine, USA)
I am Dog, The Big Bad Dog!
Here is our interpretation of a Dog the Bounty Hunter Halloween costume. We went to several local consignment shops for the clothes and jewelry. If you pay special attention to the detail, which we put a lot of work into, you can see the handcuffs, badge on a gold chain, native feather earrings and other jewelry, even including hair clips!
As a big fan of the show I had to portray Dog the best I could, and I believe I did just that! I even won a costume contest at a local bowling alley! Most of all, I had a lot of fun playing Dog. I felt like a real Bounty Hunter! As I am from Maine, it is quite the opposite of Hawaii, especially during the cold month of October, where it was already snowing! Due to this, I had to get a "Hawaiian" button down shirt to fit under the vest, both of which I did leave open for my chest to be exposed! It was definitely chilly but well worth it.
All in all, I hope everyone enjoys my costume, and the best part was that it all cost less than $20! Can't be beat!

Dog and Beth Costume
This Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife costume was really easy to put together. We found 2 mullet like wigs and for Dogs costume we got a tight black shirt, black cowboys boots from a consignment shop, cut off gloves and a gun holster for his pepper spray!
The badge around his neck, the arm bands and sunglasses we purchased online.Oh yea and you cant forget the feather in his hair. We just sewed in some feathers to the wig. For Beth's costume I bought a push up bra and a necklace with handcuffs on it. Everything else was stuff I had in my closet. I just pulled out everything that was over the top and loud. Something Beth would wear. The more obnoxious and revealing the better!
For my makeup I used bright colors for my eyes and red lipstick. I painted my nails pink and used the highest heels I owned! I think the more accessories for her, the better. I loved the outcome of these costumes and it was so much fun to put together.
In Dog we Trust - Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth Costumes
This is a photo of my husband and myself as Dog the bounty hunter and his wife Beth. I made Dog's bullet proof vest from left over fabric I had lying around, sewn around a piece of foam I picked up at the fabric store. For the straps and utility belt I used left over seat belts from our sand rail and attached them with Velcro strips.
I used and old belt and beads to fashion his arm bands, and hand sewed hair extensions into a wig for a better Dog mullet, I also hot glued feathers to the wig.
Beth was pretty easy for me. I fit her profile well and love black clothing, so I didn't have to do much with her costume other than a wig and some hand cuffs :)
I hope you like it, we were a big hit at our friends Halloween Party!
Comments for Coolest Dog and Beth the Bounty Hunters 11
We had a costume party and thought of this Dog the Bounty Hunter and Beth costume the day of the party.
We went to the thrift store and got all the clothing. The arm bands are made out of belts that we cut up and used Velcro to hold together. We gathered feathers from a chicken to create Dog's earrings and hair pieces. We also Velcrod containers to the belt.
