Homemade Dazed and Confused Group Halloween Costume

My friends and I all dressed up in this Homemade Dazed and Confused Group Halloween Costume a few years ago. My twin brother (Slater) and I (Wooderson) love Halloween and we always make our friends get as dedicated as us when we make our costumes.

From the left of the picture moving right:
Pink: A simple pair of jeans, a grey t-shirt, and shell necklace make up the clothes and then he added a 70's style wig. In the movie Pink never has is own paddle but this design is from the friend Melvin
Slater: A pair of black converse all-stars, green pants, and tan t-shirt are all easy to find but my brother actually drew the marijuana leaf on the shirt himself. He had a super long wig that he trimmed to the right length and then topped it with a driving cap.
Dawson: A pair of overalls, blue t-shirt and some mascara to make his eyebrows bushier and another handmade paddle completed his outfit.
O'Bannion: Pair of jeans with shirt found at Goodwill and yet another paddle.
Wooderson: I found some orange pants at a thrift store. I printed off the Ted Nugent album cover and ironed it onto a t-shirt. I already had a good necklace to use. Found a nice blonde mustache to glue on and this is my real hair that I styled. I also had a tattoo drawn on my forearm as well as a pack of cigarettes rolled into my sleeve.

Homemade Dazed and Confused Group Costume

For Halloween 2008 we dressed up as some of the characters from Richard Linklater's cult-classic "Dazed and Confused". My friend and I dressed as the "Senior" girls in the hazing scene, and our boyfriends went as Dave "I love them high school girls" Wooderson and O'Bannion (complete with paddle).

Everything was a Homemade Dazed and Confused Group Costume - including O'Bannion's patchwork shirt, which was crafted by cutting up pieces of fabric and gluing them onto a button-down shirt. We even scanned and printed out a cover of the Ted Nugent album that was on Wooderson's t-shirt throughout the movie and ironed it onto a white t-shirt. For the Senior girls, we cut up some white sweatshirts and sewed them back up to resemble vintage football jerseys. Then we ironed on the word "SENIORS".

We also carried around trick ketchup and mustard, which actually "squirted" out string. Everyone who saw thought that we were fantastic!

I am looking for the white shirts to print seniors on as well, I am having trouble finding them.

The shirts...
by: Anonymous

...sorry for the late response, if anyone is interested, here is how we made the shirts...they were a little tricky. I bought v-neck hanes white sweatshirts and actually cut up the shirt to shorten and taper the sleeves, and we tapered the bottom of the shirt so that they would look more like old-school jerseys. We printed the "Seniors" on iron-on transfer paper and ironed on. The Wooderson pants were actually my boyfriend's father's old pants.

Wooderson's t-shirt

Wooderson's t-shirt was also a plain white tee. The decal is actually an iron-on transfer. It's an old Ted Nugent album...unfortunately right now I can't remember the name of the album.

Seniors Font
by: Marissa

Hey not sure if you ever check comments on here anymore, but could you tell me what font you used on the Seniors tee shirts? I'm a bit OCD and have been trying to match it up for my own tee shirt haha. Thanks!
