Since I am a white little girl I decided to play it up a bit. I went as "White Trash" to an awards party. I used a trash bag as a dress, a chain of rubber bands as a belt, trash from my friend's lunches during a week at school and plastic wrap in my hair as a bow.
This was one of the most creative Halloween costumes in our area and it got lots of giggles.
