Crazy Caterpillar Costume
I wanted to make my little girl a fun and funky caterpillar costume, so I sewed bright donut shaped pillows out of fun fur with elastic bands on the top and bottom of each one. Then I attached them to each other with tights sticking out in between stuffed with stuffing. Her legs and arms were sticking out so she wore striped tights and a striped turtleneck.
The hat was sewn out of the fun fur again with an elastic band under her chin and around her head, the attena's were dowels with pom poms on top.
The outfit slipped over her head.
Her Daddy was a cocoon and I wore butterfly wings.
