Homemade Wednesday Addams Costume
For this Wednesday Addams costume, I braided a black wig for her hair. I bought a black dress with puffyish sleeves. The dress was short sleeved so I had my daughter wear a long sleeve black shirt under. For the collar and the cuffs, I cut up an old t-shirt and pinned to the dress and by her hands. She wore black tights and clunky black shoes.
I de-capitated an old doll for her to hold. For the dolls black dress, I cut the toe part off of an old black sock and slipped it over the body. The doll's original dress happened to have the perfect collar, so I pulled that out over the sock-dress.
She loved the frowning idea from the other Wednesday on the site. I thought the black and white picture worked!
