Thomas the Tank Halloween Costume
My son is Thomas crazy, so of course he had to have a Thomas the Tank Halloween Costume for Halloween.
I constructed the body out of cardboard boxes that were cut into shape and then taped together with masking tape. Then after much dismay, Brad painted Thomas with pro skill using 3 cans of spray paint and acrylic paint, taking special care using painting tape to get the lines perfectly straight.
We attached the foam whistles and numbers with hot glue. Thomas' wheels were constructed out of paper plates and hot glued to the sides. I purchased some straps from the craft store and hot glued them to the inside of the costume. After all was said and done, my son would not wear the costume on Halloween, so Uncle Derrick did.
I would like to thank Brad for his help even though he encouraged me to just “buy” one.
