Space Ace Halloween Costume
You wanted the best, You got the best...The hottest band in the world, KISS.
This Space Ace costume was easy! I took a piece of cardboard and cut out the "V" chest piece(front and back) and a hole for my head/neck. I then painted the chest piece silver and used tape and aluminum foil on the front of the chest piece to give it a bit more depth.
I then secured a piece of string on either side of the chest piece and tied them. I also used another piece of string for the neck. I was able to take this chest piece on and off without assistance.
For the outfit, I bought a used cape and painted the back with silver stars and a planet and then stapled this to the chest piece. I found an old pair of black boots and painted them silver. I picked up the black shirt, black pants, silver skirt, belt and wig at goodwill and value village and the slip on arm bands from a Halloween costume store.
I then added some high performance makeup with a whole lot of patience and voila! Space Ace was made! Enjoy!
