Homemade Peacock Costume
It took a long time to design this Peacock costume, but I really liked how it turned out. The hardest part for me was to find the right kind of fabric to make the tube-top dress. I knew I wanted it to be iridescent, so I went to many fabric stores before picking that one up.
I sewed on mini pockets in the back to the dress to secure the feathers in properly. I also cut up some feathers to make my headband and my peacock earrings. I also “bejeweled” my flip-flops to make them look like peacock eyes, and I even tried multiple makeup colors over one of my eyes to give it that peacock feather look.
The sequins in the front of the dress were the final touch to this peacock costume!
