Mr. T Halloween Costume
I made this Mr. T Halloween costume using a bald cap, a sponge cut into a Mohawk, faux fur to make the hair and beard. I then took a foam visor and glued gold rope yarn to it to create the appearance of a think gold necklace. I used brown theatrical make up to change my skin color. I also used gold rope yarn for the bracelets.
The only things not made are the rings and the muscle suit underneath. No one knew who was underneath the costume and I lost a first prize at a local bar because the judges thought I was black.
All total it took about 5 hours to build the hair and chains and I spent about two hours putting on makeup and getting everything perfect.
