Homemade Thelma Harper from Mama's Family Costume
I choose to be something a little different this year. I didn't want to match anyone else at work or while taking my kids Trick or Treating. I hit up the local Goodwill store and came together with an outfit as Thelma Harper from Mama's Family. I purchased a floral print dress and some white shoes and white purse. The hat is a toboggan with artificial flowers hot glued to it. I completed the look with my accessories of pearls, rolled down knee highs and my grandmothers old white sweater.
I had fun and was amazed at the number of people who saw me knew who I actually was. I had many compliments on the costume at work and around town so I am actually going to wear it to a Halloween party after trick or treating.
