Homemade Loofah Costumes
Got the idea from Wendy of FL. Thanks by the way!!! Thought is was an amazing and unique idea especially for a costume contest.
We used about 30 yards of netting, a tank top, about 50 safety pins, and 1 yd of cord per costume. I attached the cord as a halter around my neck to help hold up the netting weight. My loofah (the pink one) seemed to take much longer to create than my friend's did. I guess it all depends on how articulate you want to be with it.
Either way, the loofahs were a huge hit and everyone loved getting close and scrubbin on us all night!
